Bring Nature In
An ever-growing trend in classroom design, bringing nature into a space is an effective way to increase productivity. Since students are stuck inside for most of the day, it is wise to bring some nature into the classroom. Several studies show that bringing in plants into a workspace will increase the productivity and mood of everyone in the room. So for your next class, try to bring in a few plants and place them around the room.
Lighting
One of the most effective ways to improve your student’s productivity is to bring natural lighting into your classroom. Natural light has been shown to improve the focus and mood of students as well as reducing their risk for headaches. So try to keep window blinds open to let as much light in as possible. You can also use artificial lighting as a substitute product. Try to avoid having harsh, fluorescent lighting when teaching your students.

Since students for several hours a day, it is essential that they use furniture that supports good posture at all time. You should think about investing in ergonomic furniture for your students because it will support the health of students as they work. An ergonomic chair increases active sitting for students while they engage in a variety of activities. The last thing you want is to have your children sit in chairs that negatively affect their posture and overall health.
